A Play, A Pie and A Pint Contact Written by Jonny Donahoe Directed by Ben Standish Doors: 12pm (12:30pm Monday)  Show Starts: 1pm Unreserved Seating   Co-presented with Traverse Theatre and OneRen A tragicomedy exploring the toxic relationship between a mother and her adult son. A son turns up at his mother’s house. It’s the first time in months that they have seen each other. She remarks that he’s put on weight.  He tells her that he is going to be a father, but he also has an ultimatum: fix their relationship or he will not speak to her ever again. Contact is a new play by the Tony and Olivier Award nominated writer Jonny Donahoe (Every Brilliant Thing) exploring generational conflict and why so many choose ‘no contact’ over reconciliation.   Play Only Tickets (Tue - Thurs): Students – Discounted play only ticket available with a valid student ID (physical or digital). Arts Workers – Discounted play only ticket available with a valid BECTU, EQUITY, Scottish Society of Playwrights membership, or staff card from a publicly funded arts organisation. Low Income or Unemployed – Discounted play only tickets for audience members who are on a low household income, unemployed or receiving low income benefits. If you book a discounted play only ticket, we may follow up by email with a quick form for you to complete to check which of the eligible options you are for data collection purposes.  All tickets (excluding 'Play Only' Tickets) include food and drink. Please choose the relevant food option when booking tickets.
