The Drop: Julieta Venegas

The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome Mexican icon Julieta Venegas to the Museum's intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater for an evening celebrating the release of her new album, Norteña, with a conversation moderated by curator and USC Annenberg Professor Josh Kun about her creative process. This will be followed by a special performance of songs from her upcoming release. Julieta's new album 'Norteña' explores her childhood and roots growing up on the border in Tijuana. "My city is marked by being a crossing point for so many people every day," she shares. "Like all border areas, it is a complex place full of stories that multiply by the minute. It was in that area that I found inspiration for what I wrote on this album—in its stories, in its sounds."
