Formed in London in 1976 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and bass guitarist Steven Severin. Initially associated with the English punk rock scene, the band rapidly evolved to create a form of post-punk discord full of daring rhythmic and sonic experimentation. The Times cited Siouxsie and the Banshees as one of the most audacious and uncomprimising musical adventurers of the post-punk era. Lizzie and the Banshees are the UK’s premier and most authentic tribute band to Siouxsie and the Banshees at the height of their success, providing that raw intensity the Banshees had, that revolutionised the music industry. Performing all over the UK and Europe since forming in 2012 and the band have been touring ever since. Four shows at the 100 Club in London including the 50th anniversary tribute to the 1976 punk festival. Tours of Germany including Cologne, Essen, Hameln and Hamburg.
