Finland's newest double bass star, Maria Krykov, principal of the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, visits Madetoja Hall to perform Giovanni Bottesini's Double Bass Concerto -- a dazzling virtuosic showpiece that earned its composer the nickname "the Paganini of the double bass".
