3% is the unflinching voice of a new era in Australian hip hop. Formed by Nooky and Dallas Woods, this First Nations supergroup carries the fire of their ancestors into the present, fusing razor-sharp lyricism with defiance, pride, and unity. Their music is more than sound—it’s movement, memory, and momentum.

Since their explosive 2023 debut with the rallying anthem Our People, 3% have become impossible to ignore. Released in the shadow of the Voice referendum, the track spotlighted community power when the nation looked away. Their AIR Award-winning music video Won’t Stop, filmed with Jessica Mauboy at the Bomaderry Children’s Home—the birthplace of the Stolen Generation—cemented their commitment to place and truth-telling through art.

Their debut album Kill the Dead (2024) shook the industry with raw honesty and bold vision, earning widespread critical acclaim. It won ARIA Awards for Best Hip Hop/Rap Release and Best Cover Art, alongside nominations across AIR, APRA, NIMAs, and Rolling Stone Australia. They were named Rolling Stone Australia’s Artist of the Year and sold out their Sydney Opera House show for Vivid.

3% have curated some of NSW’s most iconic stages: from headlining ABC’s New Year’s Eve broadcast at the Opera House, to delivering a special Vigil “Truths” show during Sydney Festival, to starting their live journey at Sydney’s Lord Gladstone—sharing the stage in front of Chance the Rapper. Their historic ARIA performance, arriving with traditional dancers on the red carpet, sparked cultural change so significant it is now being considered for future proceedings.

Beyond music, 3% walk it. They’ve become ambassadors for Children’s Ground, donated time to countless community events, and created landmark projects featuring icons like Cathy Freeman and Patty Mills.

3% isn’t just an act—they’re agents of change. They’ve shifted culture, lifted communities, and made a permanent mark. This is generational impact in motion.
