Auckland Symphony Orchestra presents 'Masterworks'

Join the ASO for Masterworks, our first community concert of our 2026 season celebrating enduring orchestral favourites alongside an exciting new work.

The programme features Grieg’s Piano Concerto, performed by local pianist Justin Bird, a work of sweeping lyricism. Also featuring Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, brimming with colour, warmth, and joyful energy, and Aurora, a vivid new work by our guest conductor Wayne Gao, this programme promises delight and inspire.
